Home Town REALLY Support Local Authors

I live about 35 miles from Trinidad, Colorado, but it's the closest town and (consequently) my hometown. The local Carnegie Library has a great program that supports local authors called . The library offers FREE BOOKS to folks who sign-up and commit to coming to the monthly gatherings. I'm scheduled on Friday, August 25, at 5:30.

There is a lot to like about this program, but one aspect I appreciate it that the library makes a special effort to bring in other local writers, and folks hoping to be a published writer to discuss the craft.  My hat's off to Mallory Pillard, head librarian and Tom Potter who handles PR and communication.

If you're in the area, get your free copy of Irregular Lives and come to the event.
